Aug. 23 – The University Police Department (UPD) responded to a report of an individual making graffiti by the Lecture Centers. The Power Plant was notified and a report has been filed.


Aug. 24 – UPD responded to a report of an incapacitated person in Montauk Hall on Indigenous Quad. The patient was transported for evaluation and a report is on file.


Aug. 25 – UPD conducted a traffic stop in Collins Circle. The driver was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. This individual was arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 


Aug. 26 – UPD responded to check a subject on Center Drive East who were previously banned from school grounds earlier that evening. While UPD attempted to conduct a traffic stop on foot, the vehicle fled, hit the officer, and the officer fired their weapon. These individuals were caught and arrested on numerous charges, including aggravated assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon.


Aug. 27 –  UPD responded to a personal injury car accident on Western Ave. The driver fled the scene of the accident because they had a revoked license. This individual was caught and arrested for first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. 


Aug. 28 – UPD responded to a report of petit larceny in Onondaga Hall on Indigenous Quad. This case remains active.
