Crime Blotter (9/20-9/26)

Sept. 20 – The University Police Department (UPD) responded to a report of criminal mischief taking place in Stuyvesant Tower on Dutch Quad. There have been numerous reports of vandalism on multiple floors of the tower. The incidents include throwing various substances on the doors of different suites and removing door tags. An investigation is ongoing. 


Sept. 22 –  UPD responded to a reported fire alarm in Livingston Tower on Colonial Quad. It appeared that the smoke detectors were tampered with, and created endangering conditions for others. These individuals were referred to Campus Judicial. 


Sept. 23 –  UPD conducted a traffic stop off-campus. The driver was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. This individual was arrested on-site. 


Sept. 24 –  UPD took a report of a larceny of personal property in Eastman Tower on State Quad. The case remains open, and the investigation is active. 


Sept. 25 –  UPD arrested an individual who failed to appear in court after summons were served. This individual was on an outstanding bench warrant. 


Sept. 26 –  UPD responded to a report of a forged document that seemed to be from “Parking Management.” The individual was referred to the Campus Judicial.
